Their happiness was infectious, undeterred even by the unexpected rain. The Tailwater Lodge, with its remarkable ambiance, served as an ideal spot for this romance-filled occasion. In a short span of seven months, this lovely couple planned a celebration that exuded intimacy, warmth, and an abundance of love. Every moment was infused with overwhelming love and joy, from the personalized touches to the epic reception. There’s something extraordinary about a bride’s radiance on her wedding day, which never ceases to amaze me. It’s a happiness that outshines the brightest makeup or the most flattering lighting. I had the privilege of capturing this unique glow on Erin’s big day, and boy, was she shining bright! As I began taking pictures of her getting ready, I was struck by how she balanced the calm and excitement in her beautiful smile. Once her hair and makeup were done, she slipped into her wedding dress, transforming into a vision in white.

Tim was as sophisticated as ever, looking every bit the dashing groom in his sleek suit. His solo portraits oozed charm and sophistication. The real fun began when his groomsmen joined him, each looking sharp and ready to revel. One of my favorite moments was when they all posed with fishing rods! It was such a quirky and fun twist that perfectly captured their jubilant energy. Just goes to show you’re never too dressed up for a bit of playful antics!

It was a rainy day, but that didn’t stop Erin and Tim from having the wedding of their dreams! The couple got married at the Barn on Tailwater’s property, and the wooden decor, including the wedding arbor draped in white cloth and stunning florals, added a charming rustic touch to the scene. The unique personal touches really got me, like Erin’s bridal bouquet with a heartfelt message for her late father and his photograph attached. And when Erin’s brother walked her down the aisle, it was such a special moment! The couple’s genuine happiness and love for each other really shined through as they exchanged vows and promised ‘forever’ together.

Soon, Erin and Tim posed for some couples portraits, and their affection for one another truly stole the show! I could tell they loved being around each other and were meant to be together. As I captured their sweetest moments together, I enjoyed how they showed their true romantic selves – these two had my heart!

Erin and Tim truly aced their wedding planning! Their decision to have a live band instead of a DJ was a fantastic choice. The energy that live music brings to a reception is simply unparalleled. All eyes were on the newlyweds as they took to the dance floor for their first dance. I was overwhelmed by the sweet moment between Erin and her brother during their dance. And let’s not forget about that beautiful wedding cake! Every detail of their wonderful celebration was so much fun to document – and what made it even better was the abundance of love that surrounded these two as they started their journey as husband and wife.
