Weddings can get hectic, and it’s easy to forget some things. But that’s totally okay because that’s where I come in! 1. Bluetooth Speaker
Wedding receptions are a time to let loose and celebrate your love with all your closest family and friends. You will more than likely have a DJ or band for this, but don’t forget about listening to music while you are getting ready. You don’t want a quiet room! The music you listen to sets the tone for the day and pumps you up. Plus, a speaker is way better than a cell phone for music. You could create a wedding day playlist and appoint someone to control the music.
2. Snacks And Drinks
Wedding days are long and full of excitement. And couples often forget to eat before the big moment. But this is the worst thing you can do! Wedding ceremonies take place in the afternoon or evening. However, the preparations start much earlier. By the time you’re ready to walk down the aisle, you might get hungry and also dehydrated. This can lead to nerves and jitters, which is the last thing you want on your wedding day. That’s why it’s important to remember to pack snacks and drinks to keep your energy levels up. You don’t want to be dehydrated and hangry before the ceremony!
3. Crochet Hook
Wedding dresses with buttons in the back can be absolutely beautiful – but they can also be a pain to get into. A crochet hook can help go through each nook and cranny and speed up the process. Simply stick the crochet hook around the loop and pull it over the button. However, bridesmaids or stylists need to be careful when doing this so as not to damage the dress. Crochet hooks are an essential tool for any bride who wants to be prepared for anything on her big day!
4. Scissors
I know it sounds strange, but trust me, it’s a lifesaver! Those pesky tags can be really tough to remove, and you don’t want to risk ripping your dress or veil. Plus, having a pair of scissors will also come in handy if you need to make any last-minute adjustments to your outfit. So go ahead and tuck a pair of scissors into your pocket or purse – you’ll be glad you did!
5. Phone Chargers
Make sure to pack phone chargers on your wedding day. You’ll be taking lots of pictures and staying in touch with friends and family, and you don’t want your phone to die in the middle of all the excitement. A charger will also come in handy if you need to call or text your wedding planner with any last-minute questions or changes.
6. Steamer
Chances are that your wedding attire might get crushed in transit, so it’s always good to have a steamer on hand. And don’t forget an extension cord! You never know where you’ll be able to find an outlet. A few quick blasts with the steamer will smooth out any creases or wrinkles, and you’ll look picture-perfect. And, since portable steamers are small and lightweight, they’re easy to pack in your wedding day emergency kit.
7. Sewing Kit
You never know when something is going to rip or if a hem on the groomsmen’s pants are going to need to be adjusted. This is where a sewing kit comes in handy. Wedding venues usually have a vanity kit available, but it is always good to carry your own. A sewing kit comes with needles, threads, safety pins, and a pair of small scissors. That way, if you catch a snag in your attire, you can quickly fix it without having to go search for a sewing kit.
