Photographing newly engaged couples is seriously the best! It’s a golden opportunity to capture that incredible moment when love and commitment collide, and you can see it all in their eyes. But let me tell you about Laura and Nick’s Beaver Lake Nature Center engagement session – it was absolutely unforgettable! From the get-go, you could feel the joy and happiness radiating off of them. We decided to take the photo shoot outdoors, surrounded by nature, and it made the whole experience even more magical. Seeing the chemistry and affection between these two lovebirds melted my heart.

Laura and Nick had a truly enchanting engagement photo shoot at Beaver Lake Nature Center. Even though they kept things simple and sweet, their photos clearly show how much they adore and care for each other. The location features long winding paths, lush green forests, and stunning views of the beautiful glacial lake that can be enjoyed in any season. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet and peaceful engagement session, where couples can be themselves, relax, and have a great time!
The couple looked fantastic for their engagement session, dressed in semi-formal attires. Laura wore a lovely blue dress paired with brown wedges, while Nick was dressed in a blue shirt, jeans, and boots. It always brings me joy when couples color-coordinate their outfits, and I make sure to capture that effort in my photographs. Throughout the session, the happy couple were all smiles as they celebrated their new milestone and looked forward to their wedding next year.
Nick and Laura’s Beaver Lake Nature Center engagement session was truly breathtaking! The venue provided a stunning backdrop for their photoshoot, with towering trees, off-beaten paths, and just the right amount of sunlight setting the scene for a romantic session. But what truly made it perfect was the genuine sweetness and romance between Nick and Laura. Every image reflected their deep connection as they laughed, stole kisses, warmly embraced each other, and strolled hand-in-hand. It was so wholesome!
Exploring Beaver Lake Nature Center with Laura and Nick was an absolute blast! The lighting during the golden hour was simply gorgeous, and the weather was delightful! I instantly clicked with Laura and Nick, and it felt like I was hanging out with friends. One of the most memorable moments was when I clicked some romantic photos of Laura and Nick breaking into a dance by the lakeside. Nick twirled Laura gracefully and showered her with kisses!
