Vanessa and Jamie’s wedding day was nothing short of magical. On a beautiful summer day, they tied the knot at Highland Forest County Park. This is a venue known for its breathtaking views and serene outdoor ceremony space. With perfect weather and so much love in the air, their day felt like a heartfelt celebration of family, creativity, and togetherness.
I first met Vanessa and Jamie at a wedding expo in Syracuse. They entered (and won!) my giveaway for 5 hours off a wedding package. For their medium-sized wedding, they chose 6 hours of coverage with one photographer—just enough to capture all the highlights of their special day. I love to customize packages based on what each couple wants to be photographed.
A Unique & Heartfelt Celebration
One of the most memorable parts of their wedding was the food. Instead of going with the venue’s catering option, they opted for a family-style approach, with relatives bringing delicious homemade dishes. The food was incredible—there’s just something so comforting about a home-cooked meal that you don’t often get at weddings!
Adding another personal touch, Vanessa’s sister-in-law, who lives out of state, surprised her with stunning floral arrangements. Watching her create the bouquets and centerpieces the morning of the wedding was such a treat. It was clear she poured so much love into every detail.

Vanessa and Jamie were surrounded by family and friends who made their day even more special. The ceremony, set against Highland Forest’s lush summer backdrop, was both intimate and full of joy.
