Have a look around the blog and make sure to contact me ASAP! Let's get your incredible day on my calendar, and let's create memories that you'll remember for a lifetime.
One of the greatest joys of my life is being able to capture a couple’s wedding day memories. From the tears of joy during a first look to a couple’s first dance as husband and wife, every moment is incredibly special and meaningful. Seeing my couples’ faces light up when they see their photos makes all the effort worthwhile. Despite being a backyard wedding, Raegyn and Isaac’s La Fayette New York backyard wedding was bursting with the energy and excitement that you would expect at a traditional wedding. Take a look at the photos I captured and read all about their big day here!
I have a soft spot for backyard weddings! Although they may not have the same level of grandeur as big, glitzy weddings, there’s something special about the intimacy that comes with a backyard wedding. There’s a warmth that you don’t always find at larger weddings. Isaac and Raegyn’s wedding was overflowing with love and warmth.
I began the couple’s wedding photography by capturing the getting ready moments. These moments always make for such great wedding pictures. It’s also a great time to take some candids of the couple with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Raegyn was glowing with happiness as she got ready for the big day.
The first look is an incredibly emotional moment on a wedding day. Whether it’s between the bride and groom, parents, or bridesmaids, I always cherish these moments. I was lucky enough to capture two first looks at this wedding! Raegyn’s first look with her father was particularly touching – he couldn’t hide his love and pride for his daughter.
The bride also did a quick first look with her bridesmaids, who were overjoyed to see Raegyn looking like a princess! I am so glad I caught their reaction because it’s just one of those photos that I know will bring a smile on Raegyn’s face every time she looks at it. Also, I absolutely loved the bridesmaids’ dresses; the color was an excellent choice!
Raegyn And Isaac exchanged vows in a beautiful outdoor setting with their wedding altar decorated with a massive wooden cross draped with a sheer white cloth. The whole setting exuded a sense of peace and serenity. And even though it was a backyard wedding, everyone was so well-dressed and they all looked incredibly elegant.
Capturing the love and joy at Raegyn and Isaac’s La Fayette New York Backyard wedding was such a wonderful opportunity for me. This wedding was a perfect example of how backyard weddings can be just as delightful as larger ones. After the ceremony, it was time to take some portraits of the couple with their guests. The couple’s wedding party was an absolute blast to photograph! I could see that they were there to have a good time, and that’s what made the photos of them with the newlyweds so precious and lively. Later on, the reception moved indoors, where the couple shared their first dance as husband and wife.
As soon as the dance floor opened, the REAL party began! Everyone put on cowboy hats and danced the night away! Although the party was fantastic, my favorite moment was when the ice cream truck arrived! I thought that was such a fun, unique idea for wedding desserts and a great photo op! The entire day was filled with love and devotion. All of the couple’s friends and family prayed for their success in life and as a married couple! It was truly beautiful to witness.

Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I hope you love your wedding pictures as much as I loved taking them.
