Mo And Jason’s Engagement Session At Beaver Lake Nature Center

As an engagement photographer, I find so much joy in capturing the pure excitement and love that comes with a recent engagement. While wedding photography holds a special place in my heart, engagement sessions offer something truly unique. These sessions allow couples to bask in their newfound status, reveling in the “just engaged” glow with sheer happiness. It’s a wonderful opportunity for partners to bond, create memories, and let their love shine through in every frame. Mo and Jason’s engagement session at Beaver Lake Nature Center in Baldwinsville was a perfect example of this, and it was a delight to photograph them.

Mo And Jason’s Engagement Session At Beaver Lake Nature Center

From the moment I met Mo and Jason, I knew their session would be something special. This charming duo embraced every moment of their engagement session, making the best of the beautiful surroundings and creating memories that would last a lifetime. The location they chose, Beaver Lake Nature Center, offered a picturesque setting that couldn’t have been more perfect for their engagement photos.

Mo wore a pretty green summer dress with lovely white flowers printed on it, and she looked absolutely stunning. Jason’s laid-back outfit of cargo shorts, a green t-shirt, and a blue shirt perfectly matched Mo’s dress, creating a cohesive look that set the tone for a stress-free engagement session. I especially loved how the couple planned to match their sandals—it was such a cute and thoughtful touch! Their outfits were a perfect reflection of their easygoing, fun-loving personalities, and they blended seamlessly with the natural beauty of Beaver Lake Nature Center.

One of the things I loved most about this session was how natural and comfortable Mo and Jason were in front of the camera. They truly owned every minute of their engagement session, whispering sweet nothings, stealing kisses, and gazing into each other’s eyes with so much love and adoration. Jason held Mo’s hand and looked at her with a tenderness that spoke volumes about their connection and their engagement photos speak for themselves. Their love was evident in every frame, making it so easy to work with them.

As we walked around the trails of Beaver Lake Nature Center, we had a great time exploring the park together. Mo went to SUNY ESF, so the nature center was a perfect fit for their engagement session. I learned so much about the park and how well it is maintained, and it was clear that this place held special meaning for the couple. We had so much fun together, and it was a joy to see how much Mo and Jason enjoyed being in each other’s company. They are a goofy, fun-loving couple, and their playful energy made the session even more enjoyable.

One of my favorite photos from the session is of Jason getting a piggyback ride from Mo. Haha! It was such a fun and spontaneous moment, and it perfectly captured the couple’s playful side. No matter what we did or where we were, Mo and Jason never stopped smiling or laughing. As an engagement photographer, I always strive to create a fun and relaxed environment where couples can be themselves and enjoy the experience. Mo and Jason made my job so easy with their natural chemistry and genuine affection for each other. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple, and I’m even more excited to photograph their wedding.
