Mary & Brandon’s RMSC Cumming Nature Center Engagement Session

Photographing Mary and Brandon’s engagement session at RMSC Cumming Nature Center was an incredible experience! We had the most romantic setting against a beautiful backdrop of Pine trees covered in a blanket of snow, adding a magical touch to the session.  I loved that my beautiful couple loves the outdoors and even winter, so the winter landscape provided the ultimate backdrop for their photos. To top it all off, Sven, their adorably fluffy pet dog, also joined us in front of the camera – it was double the fun. I especially admired Mary and Brandon’s commitment to capturing these precious memories together despite not living in NY. They were in town attending a friend’s wedding and decided to make time for their engagement photoshoot in a very narrow window. It truly made for an unforgettable experience that turned out picture-perfect!

Mary And Brandon’s RMSC Cumming Nature Center Engagement

As an engagement photographer, I was thrilled to photograph Mary and Brandon’s RMSC Cumming Nature Center engagement session. The weather wasn’t cooperating with us initially as we had no snow up until the day before which was exciting for us. The temperatures were freezing – a crisp -9 degrees outside – so I needed to bundle up in my snow pants, winter jacket, and boots to stay (somewhat!) warm. Despite the astonishing temperatures they both were total troopers in their matching attire and their love for each other kept them warm. Looking at these photos, you would never know it was that cold out!

The snow-covered landscape was breathtaking and added a whole other level of beauty to their special moments. Mary and Brandon were a perfect mix of sweet and playful, providing me with wonderful prospects for this engagement shoot. Just being in this peaceful and serene environment with these two lovebirds was captivating. Their natural chemistry was evident throughout. We just moved from one picturesque spot to another taking in the surreal winter sunshine and snow.

It truly was an amazing experience getting to capture all the engagement session magic in such an awe-inspiring landscape. What made it even more special was Sven, their pet dog joining in for stunning photos – such a cutie! Whether he was sitting still with them or taking a stroll through the winter woods, he was posing like a pro the whole time. Every year this wonderful couple includes him in their Christmas photos and I was so delighted that he came along for their engagement session.

My beautiful couple was positively glowing and it was obvious that love was in the air as they frolicked in the woods and did fun things like Mary piggybacking on Brandon. They’re getting married at Beardless Castle later this year in December and we’re all hoping for snow on their special day!
