Wedding At The Lodge, Skaneateles NY | Ari and Austen’s magical day

I have to tell you, I was excited to photograph Ari and Austen’s wedding at The Lodge in Skaneateles! As a wedding photographer, I’ve been to my fair share of events, but this one truly stood out. The venue is incredible. It was obvious that a lot of time and thought went into planning this wedding. Every little detail was perfect.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the love and joy radiating. It just got better as the day went on. Ari and Austen live out of state, so their family was over the moon to celebrate their special day with them. I was moved when I saw that Ari had included her newborn nephew Clark in the celebrations. You could feel the bond that this family shares. I was overjoyed as I captured the love and connection between these two amazing people and all their special moments. Overall, it was an unforgettable day that I’m lucky to have been a part of.

Austen And Ari’s Wedding At The Lodge

For me, I’m always honored to be there, camera in hand, ready to capture the excitement and warmth of those precious getting-ready moments. At Ari and Austen’s wedding, the energy in their rooms was electric, with love and laughter filling every corner.

From the smallest details, like getting that perfect shot of the ring, to the big emotional moments as the bride puts on her dress, I captured it all. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the word “gorgeous” just does not do justice to how amazing Ari looked in her wedding dress! Austen looked equally dashing in his suit, patiently waiting for his beautiful bride. The moment he saw Ari during their first look, I could see the love and excitement shining in his eyes. I love seeing an excited-in-love groom, and I was incredibly happy to capture Austen’s excitement. And, the second time during their ceremony, too!

Ari And Austen Say ‘I Do’

Where do I even begin?! Ari and Austen’s ceremony at The Lodge was a dream! The stunning decor and attention to detail completely blew me away. The unique Adirondack vibes of the venue were so charming and added a touch of rustic elegance to the scene. And don’t even get me started on the florals – especially the white blooms that adorned the wedding arch were simply breathtaking. As the house DJ, Visa Versa Entertainment did a fantastic job with the lighting setup, creating the perfect ambiance for the festivities.

The decor was gorgeous, but the real showstopper, of course, was the beaming couple. I was in awe, capturing Austen’s pure joy as Ari walked down the aisle towards him. And when they said their vows, I couldn’t help but get swept away in the emotion and magic of it all.

It was clear that the newlyweds were head over heels for each other. Capturing their romantic portraits was a breeze! I loved when the groomsmen and bridesmaids joined us; they were all such great sports, striking poses left and right. One of my favorite shots was when the groomsmen showed off their socks, which featured Austen’s face! But even more remarkable than all the fun was capturing all the incredible love that surrounded my lovely couple on their big day!
