Engagements are like love stories unfolding right before our eyes, and there’s something undeniably magical about capturing the raw, unfiltered essence of two souls intertwining in a beautiful dance of love and laughter. And that’s precisely what I experienced during Caitlin and Rick’s enchanting Thornden Park engagement in Syracuse, New York.
Throughout the entire session, Caitlin and Rick were a joy to work with. They were open to trying new poses and ideas, and their chemistry was electric. Plus, they included their fur baby, Jameson, in their session, and it was fantastic! It was a true pleasure to capture their love story in heartwarming moments, and I am so excited to share them with you. Caitlin And Rick’s Thornden Park Engagement
One thing that immediately struck me about Caitlin and Rick is how wonderfully true to themselves they stayed throughout the entire session. From comfy sweatsuits to stylish jeans, every choice felt 100% them, and that’s something I absolutely adore. It’s a beautiful reminder that love shines brightest when it’s genuine and authentic.
Our day started with playful moments at a charming park in Baldwinsville, where we were joined by their adorable fur baby, Jameson. Caitlin had picked out the cutest bandana for Jameson, with the hilarious words “I’m still not calling him Dad” written on it. As they played catch and watched their natural bond unfold, I couldn’t help but smile. It was pure joy capturing their love in its most effortless form.
With Jameson taking a break, we headed to Thornden Park to capture some stunning photos of just Caitlin and Rick. Let me tell you, they absolutely nailed it! Against the backdrop of fall leaves and the soft glow of golden hour, their love radiated through each shot. The park provided the perfect canvas for their natural chemistry, and the picturesque surroundings only enhanced the magic of the moment.
What I loved most about working with Caitlin and Rick was that they simply wanted to have fun. Their constant laughter and the way they effortlessly make each other smile are truly infectious. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand, whispering sweet nothings, or attempting to lift each other on their backs, their connection was electric. The way they looked at each other, smiled, and held hands was nothing short of mesmerizing.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wrapped up the session with a playful and joyful champagne celebration.
