What a delight it was to catch up with Brittany and Mike! Having been part of their journey right from their engagement shoot, complete with their lovable dog Bruno, to Brittany’s bridal shower and now their beautiful wedding, I’ve watched their love story unfold through my lens. Over this time, our professional relationship has blossomed into a warm friendship that I truly cherish. They chose to exchange their vows at The Gatsby in Vernon, New York, and even the unexpected rain couldn’t dull the sparkle in their eyes or the joy on their faces. Here’s a glimpse of their wedding day!
Brittany And Mike Tie The Knot At The Gatsby
So, here’s how the day began – I captured some fantastic moments of the bride and her bridesmaids as they got ready for their big day. And let me tell you, Brittany and her girls looked stunning in her dresses! All smiles to marry the love of her life; I got some bridal portraits before the ceremony. With her makeup and hair on point, Brittany was every inch the beautiful bride. Once all dressed up, an emotional moment ensued – Brittany’s first look with her dad! As she approached him, he opened his arms wide for a hug, his face lit up with the biggest, proudest smile. It was a heartfelt scene that added to the day’s memories.
Brittany and Mike’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of serendipity and joy. Despite the rain causing a little hiccup and necessitating a change in the ceremony location, it all worked out beautifully in the end. In fact, they both fell in love with the new spot even more than the original one! This is what I admire most about Brittany and Mike – their ability to take things as they come and make the best of them. They saved their first look for the ceremony, and the moment they looked at each other, it was filled with so much love. Mike looked dapper in his sharp suit, and when they finally exchanged their vows and shared a tender kiss, it was a moment that tugged at everyone’s heartstrings.

They kissed and walked hand-in-hand, and that gorgeous natural setting surrounding the venue added to the beauty of their wedding photos. Brittany and Mike’s wedding reception was a lively indoor affair. One of my favorite aspects was the cold sparklers they incorporated into their first dance and the parent dances. It wasn’t just a fun addition to the festivities but also gave their wedding photos an extra pop! As the party continued, Brittany and Mike began their sweet journey together by feeding each other delicious treats from their dessert table. Laden with cupcakes and cookies, it was every sweet tooth’s paradise! Much like their love, their reception was full of warmth and fun moments.
