DeVaughna & Adam’s Windridge Estate Wedding

I first met DeVaughna and Adam when they came to my studio to talk about me photographing their wedding at Windridge Estate. We instantly hit it off. Next was their engagement session, during their engagement session it was instantly clear how special their bond was.

Adam and DeVaughna’s Windridge Estate wedding was filled with so many unforgettable moments. As the day went on it just kept getting better and better. It’s hard to pinpoint just one favorite moment. The bond I’ve developed with this couple over time is special. The bond has made me feel like I wasn’t just photographing a client’s wedding, I was celebrating with friends. The love surrounding this event was awe-inspiring, making their special day an occasion I will always hold close to my heart.

DeVaughna And Adam’s Windridge Estate Wedding

DeVaughna and Adam’s Windridge Estate wedding was a heartwarming celebration of love, friendship, and laughter. The estate, tucked away in Cazenovia New York, provided the perfect setting for their wedding day. Their love for each other is palpable. You can tell they are not just a couple, but best friends sharing a special kind of love.

Windridge Estate is an incredible property, and it provided DeVaughna and Adam with a comfortable and customizable space that they filled with countless amazing details, turning their dream wedding into reality. The beauty of Windridge Estate is that it caters to every vision, making it a one-stop destination for couples seeking a personalized wedding experience.

The couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony was a scene straight out of a fairytale. DeVaughna, looking radiant in her gorgeous wedding dress, walked down the aisle towards Adam, who stood tall and handsome in his black suit and cowboy hat. DeVaughna’s mom carried Kovu’s urn, paying tribute to their late dog and DeVaughna’s special bond with him. As DeVaughna approached, Adam got emotional, and you could see the love and admiration in his eyes – he was clearly smitten. And who could blame him? DeVaughna was a vision of beauty and grace!

Their altar, a grand wooden circle arch draped with pristine white cloth and adorned with beautiful flowers, served as the perfect backdrop for their vows. Under the open sky and surrounded by nature’s beauty, they pledged their lives to each other. Adding a surprise to the ceremony, DeVaughna’s mom presented the couple with doves to release together. This was my first experience witnessing such a unique and heartwarming moment.

Couples Portraits And Reception

Working with DeVaughna and Adam on their couple’s portraits was a joy. The venue provided a charming backdrop with a beautifully decorated swing tied to a tree. Adorned with flowers that matched the bride’s bouquet, it made for a fantastic spot that I couldn’t resist incorporating into their wedding photographs! DeVaughna sat on the swing while Adam stood behind her. These photos are my all-time favorites! Every smile and affectionate glance between them created a perfect moment frozen in time.

Held in right outside the cozy barn, Adam and DeVaughna swayed to the rhythm of their first dance, and I couldn’t help but be captivated by their shared joy. Their choreographed first dance was incredible. Another highlight of the day was the sparkler send-off. Guests were given sparklers, which they lit as the newlyweds made their way outside. The sight of everyone gathered around the couple as they shared a kiss under the glow of the sparklers was truly enchanting. And to top it off, DeVaughna wore a white cowboy hat too! These two country-loving sweethearts had the perfect ending to their already-perfect wedding day.
