As an engagement photographer, I live for the opportunity to capture the love that two people share. When Selena reached out to me to photograph her and Zach’s Emerald Cocktail Kitchen engagement session, I was over the moon with excitement. I had met Selena years prior when we worked together at a restaurant, and her kind and joyful spirit always struck me. Not to mention, she is beautiful inside and out. We were in for a treat with the venue, and Emerald Cocktail Kitchen was kind enough to let us use the space for the engagement session! Plus, these two lovebirds had a unique vision and great ideas for their engagement, and I was all in!

I am beyond excited to share Selena and Zach’s magical engagement session at the stunning Emerald Cocktail Kitchen. Let me tell you, it was an absolute dream to capture the love, laughter, and remarkable chemistry between this incredible couple. From the moment Selena and Zach arrived, I knew we were in for something special. Dressed to the nines and brimming with enthusiasm, they brought their unique vision to life effortlessly. They had such wonderful energy, and it was an absolute joy to see their personalities shine through every shot.
The interiors of Emerald Cocktail Kitchen provided the most enchanting backdrops that perfectly complemented our creative vision for this engagement session. Selena’s creativity and Zach’s charm blended seamlessly, making my job an absolute breeze. Their chemistry was nothing short of breathtaking; every glance, touch, and shared laugh beautifully reflected their love.
As we ventured through the space, capturing Selena and Zach against the picturesque backdrops, it was evident that this phase of their love story was something truly special. The way they laughed, held each other close and gazed into each other’s eyes spoke volumes about the depth of their connection.

Selena and Zach had expressed a desire for a unique editing style, one that reflected a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. They longed for darker photos with grain and direct flash, reminiscent of old family photos that evoked a feeling of “home.” I was deeply moved by the emotion and sentiment behind their request, and I’m genuinely excited to bring their vision to life for their upcoming wedding at Colloca Estate Winery in October.
