From the stunning venue to the perfect weather, this day was filled with moments that I was so lucky to capture. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session months before, so reconnecting with them for their wedding felt extra special. Seeing familiar faces, sharing inside jokes, and being part of their big day was truly heartwarming. The day was full of so many sweet and funny moments, and Aubri and Brad made sure it was a day their loved ones would never forget. With not one but three first looks, laughter at every corner, and a party that went late into the night, this wedding was one for the books.

Watervale Ridge is a dream wedding venue—and it makes sense, as it was designed by a photographer! Melissa, a friend, and her family own the property and turned it into a wedding venue! The house on the property, where Aubri and her bridesmaids got ready, is every photographer’s dream. Spacious, full of natural light, and brimming with charm—it was the perfect spot to kick off the day.

Aubri decided to have a few first looks, which is something I absolutely loved. First, she shared a heartwarming moment with her bridesmaids. Next, Aubri had a first look with her dad. As he saw his daughter in her wedding dress, his expression was filled with pride and emotion. Finally, Aubri had a first look with the important women in her life.

Meanwhile, Brad was getting ready on the other side of the property. He looked absolutely dashing in his suit, but what really made the moment hilarious was when his friends gifted him a pair of briefs that read “Property of Mrs. Rivera.” Brad couldn’t stop laughing, and it was such a fun way to ease any wedding-day nerves! That cheeky energy carried through the rest of the day.

When it was time for the ceremony, Aubri was full of confidence and beauty as she walked down the aisle. The outdoor ceremony setting at Watervale Ridge couldn’t have been more perfect. Surrounded by greenery and the natural beauty of the venue, Aubri and Brad exchanged vows with their closest friends and family watching. The smile on Brad’s face when he saw Aubri was everything. He couldn’t stop smiling, and it was one of those genuine, unforgettable reactions that makes you appreciate the raw emotions of a wedding day.

After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party took a moment to themselves before joining their guests for cocktail hour. This brief window between the ceremony and reception is one of my favorite times to capture, as it’s often when emotions are at their peak. Aubri and Brad, along with their closest friends, shared laughs, shed a few tears of joy, and reflected on the day so far.

The reception was held indoors in the most charming barn, offering gorgeous views of the surrounding property. As the sun began to set, the golden hour light poured into the barn, creating the perfect backdrop for Aubri and Brad’s first dance. They swayed to the music and it was clear they were soaking up every second of this magical day.

The party quickly picked up after that. Their guests were ready to celebrate, and Aubri and Brad’s family and friends didn’t hold back when it came to dancing!
