Photographing Russ and Tori’s Beardslee Castle wedding was an absolute blast! They had a wonderful outdoor ceremony that was filled with love and joy, followed by a reception that was simply spectacular. They even paid homage to their pets in the sweetest way possible! Right from our initial wedding consultation, there was an instant connection between Tori, Russ, and myself. We hit it off right from the start. Tori and I discovered that we were remarkably alike, sharing even the same birthday. Everything about their wedding day was a reflection of the couple’s vibrant and free-spirited personalities, which was one of the reasons why working with them was such a breeze!
Russ And Tori’s Beardslee Castle Wedding
In a fairytale-like setting that was fit for a modern couple, the Beardslee Castle provided an ideal backdrop for Russ and Tori’s wedding. I began the day by capturing the bride’s solo portraits. She had an air of elegance and grace about her and looked phenomenal in her lace wedding dress. Her bridal bouquet, featuring white roses and green leaves, perfectly complemented her look. I loved hanging out with the bridesmaids as they got ready. It was empowering to be in a room full of successful, educated women. I learned a lot of things about being a lawyer too!
Before the ceremony, the couple shared a heartwarming first look. Russ, dressed in his dashing blue suit, eagerly awaited Tori’s arrival. With a gentle tap on his shoulder, he turned around, and he was over the moon to see his gorgeous bride for the very first time! The love between them was evident in every glance and smile, and I was so happy to document this precious moment for them.
The view at Beardslee Castle was magical, with luscious foliage everywhere and the brick-walled castle’s ethereal charm. The ceremony itself was a dreamy affair, with all their loved ones in attendance to celebrate the union of the couple. Tori and Russ were positively glowing as they exchanged their wedding vows and wowed us all with a kiss as they sealed the marriage.
Heartfelt Portraits And A Memorable Reception
Capturing beautiful photos was a top priority for Russ and Tori on their big day. I began taking pictures of the radiant bride and her fabulous girl gang, dressed in stunning pastel-colored dresses. Next, I proceeded to capture heartfelt family portraits with the parents and immediate family members. And then, it was finally time to take Russ and Tori’s couples portraits. The couple’s chemistry was undeniable as they held hands, embraced each other, and stole kisses, making it easy for me to capture incredibly romantic shots of them together.
The reception was a splendid celebration. Russ and Tori just want to have a good time, and that’s a vibe I am always down for. They added a touch of whimsy to the festivities by naming special cocktails after their beloved dogs. It was then time for the couple to share a lovely first dance. But you know what was one of the most treasured moments of the day? It was witnessing the bond between Russ and his mother. She showered him with countless hugs, so proud of the man he had become. All in all, it was a true fairytale wedding that could not have been more incredible.
After an eventful day, Tori and Russ found themselves exhausted but determined to catch their honeymoon flight at 3 am. Choosing a unique approach, the couple opted for an “Irish goodbye” from their own wedding, which Tori humorously remarked as being “very on brand for them.” With a touch of spontaneity and their distinct style, they slipped away quietly, embarking on the next chapter of their journey together.
