You know that saying, “When you know, you know”? Well, it couldn’t ring more true for DeVaughna and Adam. I had the honor of capturing their love story at their Delphi Falls engagement session. And it was gorgeous! From their perfectly coordinated outfits to that magical champagne pop, the whole day was filled with heartwarming moments. And of course, we can’t forget about their adorable fur baby, Kovu, who added an extra dose of sweetness to the session. Although Kovu has since passed, his memory continues to bring joy to their lives.
DeVaughna & Adam’s Delphi Falls Engagement Session
DeVaughna and Adam’s engagement photo shoot at Delhi Falls was incredible. Their decision to keep things simple and sweet let their genuine affection for each other take center stage in the photos. The location, a picturesque setting with a majestic waterfall, lush greenery, and winding paths, served as an exquisite backdrop for documenting their love story. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet and peaceful engagement session, where they could just be themselves, unwind, and create wonderful memories together.
The couple’s outfits for the session were spot on! They opted for a classy semi-formal look, and their color coordination was simply flawless! I LOVE it when my couples put that extra effort into planning their session and making it truly one-of-a-kind! DeVaughna looked beautiful in a white dress paired with stylish brown boots. Adam complemented her perfectly, donning a crisp white shirt, black pants, and matching brown boots. Adding to the charm of the photo shoot was their adorable furry sidekick, Kovu! He was such a good boy and looked like an absolute angel with a bandana tied around his neck. Fun fact: This cutie was a BIG love bug!
The waterfall in the background was absolutely stunning and set a romantic tone for their photos. It was an absolute joy documenting the couple as they couldn’t stop giggling, stealing sweet kisses, and embracing each other. They had huge smiles on their faces the entire time, celebrating this major milestone together. One of my favorite moments from the engagement session was when the couple popped open a champagne bottle and sprayed it all around. I think it was such a fun way to celebrate the session and their engagement.
I adored the couple’s fun-loving personalities, and their engagement photos truly reflect that. Another highlight from the session was when Adam lifted DeVaughna in his arms and gave her a kiss. It was a real “awww” moment. Their genuine connection and carefree spirits made the experience enjoyable, and I felt like I was hanging out with my friends the entire time. Oh, and here’s an exciting tidbit! I’ve photographed another session for them that I can’t wait to share after their wedding. Stay tuned for that!
