Photographing Brionna and Mike’s beautiful wedding at The Root Farm was truly an unforgettable experience! From their ‘I do’s’ to the first dance, each precious moment made my heart sing. All the farm and fall elements combined beauty and the venue was the perfect setting for their wonderful union. This was the first wedding put on by The Root Farm, which made it all the more special for the couple, but I can definitely see many more to come as The Root Farm not only includes an adventure course but it is also an inclusive venue so people in wheelchairs can participate! Here’s a glimpse of the beautiful day.
It was a beautiful day at The Root Farm to celebrate Brionna and Mike’s wedding. I started the day photographing the bride and groom getting ready. Mike was handsome in his suit and Brionna looked gorgeous in her white wedding dress. I especially loved that she skipped the traditional shoes for something more fun and relaxed – a pair of stylish sneakers! They looked like a real-life prince and princess on their big day and were both glowing with happiness and excitement.
For Brionna and Mike’s first look, we had chosen the stunning backdrop of the woods. What could’ve been more perfect to capture the special moment? The sunlight drenched the trees and the green leaves with just a hint of gold added an ethereal vibe to the setting. Mike was in complete awe when he saw his bride-to-be for the first time that day and his expression said it all. They shared the warmest hug before holding hands and stealing a kiss. The moment was magical.
Photographing Brionna and Mike’s wedding at The Root Farm in Sauquoit, New York was an absolute delight and a dream come true. Everywhere I looked I was met with stunning landscape visuals and the farm’s natural beauty. With rolling green hills, quaint barns, and beautiful patches of trees dotting the landscape, it was the perfect venue for their country chic nuptials! My favorite moment had to be capturing Lucky, the sheep, walking down the aisle, as the ring bearer. I also loved documenting Mike’s expression of pride and love when he saw Brionna coming towards him – it was truly priceless. And I can’t forget to mention their great fall-themed wedding arch, decorated with colorful fall leaves and pine cones, under which they sealed their first kiss as husband and wife – sublimely romantic!
Brionna and Mike definitely prioritized photos for their big day. They gave me so much time to take a ton of pictures of them throughout the day at various picturesque backdrops around the farm. We went on a wagon ride with the entire wedding party to explore the most breathtaking parts of the venue. Then I was able to take photos of the bride and groom with chickens among the wildflowers. And THEN we went up to the zip line to take amazing sunset photos. So many options! And for all of it, the newlyweds were so excited, holding hands, dancing, and stealing kisses. And to complement their romantic shots, I made sure to capture Brionna and Mike’s solo portraits too. I especially loved Brionna’s bouquet which was gorgeous with its assortment of all of fall’s brightest colors.
The reception was a fun laid-back celebration of the wonderful evening. There was a bonfire later in the evening where everyone enjoyed roasted marshmallows and also delicious apple cider donuts. All in all, it was a true fall farm wedding that could not have been more special or perfect.
Brionna and Mike, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It was an amazing wedding celebration and I had a great time photographing all its memorable moments. Congratulations once again and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
